The new logo is called the KC Mark Korea Certification, representative. The current 13mandatory sign will be the ultimate unity to this new sign. This move brought a result, reduce the supplier in the certification costs expenditure, make Korea KC Mark gradually become a world brand certification.

Electrical and electronic products can be divided into two categories:
(1) compulsory products for safety certification;
(2) voluntary ones. The 5th certification mode is applicable to compulsory products, namely type testing plus factory inspection. Type testing plus self declaration for safety is applicable to products required for voluntary certification. Most electrical and electronic products are required to meet requirements of both safety and EMC. Only products affixed with KC Mark can be sold in Korean market.
